Cookie Policy

1. Your choice
On your first visit a banner asks you to Accept or Decline. Declining means the analytics tools in section 3 never load. Everything in section 2 still works, because the site needs it.
Your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage (not in a cookie) under cookie_consent. To change it at any time, use here or in the site footer. Clearing this site's data in your browser also resets it, and the banner will ask again.
2. Strictly necessary (always on)
These are needed to sign you in, keep the service secure, or do something you asked for, such as paying.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
auth_token | First-party cookie + localStorage | Keeps you signed in and authorises your requests to our API. | Cookie: until you close the browser or sign out. localStorage: until you sign out. |
cookie_consent | localStorage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask on every visit. | Until you change it or clear this site's data. |
Preferences | localStorage | Settings you choose, such as light/dark theme, editor panel sizes, dashboard view, and a plan you picked before signing up. They stay in your browser and are never sent to us. | Until you change them or clear this site's data. |
Sentry | Script (no cookies) | Reports errors on the site so we can fix them and keep the service secure. Errors only: no session recording, and you are identified by your user ID, never your email. | Nothing is stored in your browser. |
Paddle.js | Third-party script and cookies | Paddle's secure checkout. It loads only on billing pages or when you click to subscribe, and may set cookies it needs for payment and fraud prevention. | Set by Paddle; see Paddle's cookie policy. |
Google Sign-In | Third-party script and cookies | Lets you sign in with your Google account. It loads only on the sign-in and sign-up pages, and Google may set its own cookies when you use it. | Set by Google; see Google's privacy policy. |
3. Analytics (only if you accept)
These load only after you click Accept, and stop sending data as soon as you decline.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
Vercel Web Analytics | First-party script (no cookies) | Counts page views and referrers so we can see which pages are useful. It uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites. | Nothing is stored in your browser. |
Vercel Speed Insights | First-party script (no cookies) | Measures how fast pages load (Core Web Vitals) so we can make the site faster. | Nothing is stored in your browser. |
4. What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, and nothing on this site tracks you across other websites. The tools above are the complete list.
5. Browser controls
Your browser can also block or delete cookies and site data. If you block the auth_token cookie or storage, you won't be able to stay signed in.
6. More information
How we handle personal data, including the providers above, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
