1. Agreement to these terms

GetClipFox (the "Service"), available at getclipfox.com, is operated by [Legal entity name] ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a subscription or credits. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.

2. The Service

GetClipFox turns scripts into videos with AI. It splits a script into scenes, generates images and voice-overs, lets you edit them on a timeline, and exports an MP4. We may change, add or remove features over time.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and your account information accurate. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Don't share your account, use someone else's, or create accounts with automated tools or to get around limits. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to create, upload or share content that:

breaks any law, or helps someone else break one;
sexualises minors in any way, or is sexual content involving a real person without their consent;
infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
impersonates a real person or organisation, or presents a synthetic image or voice of a real person as real, without their permission;
harasses, threatens, defames or promotes hatred or violence against people or groups;
is deliberately misleading, such as scams or fake news presented as fact, including about elections;
contains malware or tries to get people to reveal passwords or payment details.

You also must not:

try to break, overload, probe or get around the security, credit or usage limits of the Service;
copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the Service, except where the law allows it;
use the Service in a way that breaks the usage policies of the AI providers we rely on.

We may remove content, pause generation, or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

5. Your content and AI output

Your inputs. You keep ownership of the scripts, prompts, images, audio and other material you upload ("Inputs"). You confirm you have the rights to use them, and you are responsible for them. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process and transmit your Inputs only to run the Service for you, including sending them to the AI providers named in our Privacy Policy.

AI output. As between you and us, you own the scenes, images, voice-overs and videos the Service generates for you ("Output"), and we assign to you any rights we have in it. This doesn't cover third-party material that appears in Output (such as fonts, music or other material that stays under its own licence), and some countries may not give copyright protection to AI-generated material. Output can be inaccurate or similar to what other users get. Review it before you publish; you are responsible for how you use it.

We don't sell your Inputs or Output, and we don't use them to train our own AI models.

6. Plans, billing and Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: you buy from Paddle, Paddle charges you and issues your receipt, and Paddle handles sales tax, VAT, payment questions and refunds. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase alongside these terms.

Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance, and renew automatically each month until you cancel.
Prices are shown before you pay. Paddle adds any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live.
We may change plan prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your renewal.
If a renewal payment fails, your plan may be limited until the payment goes through.
We never see or store your full card details; Paddle collects them in its own checkout.

Cancelling stops your next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, including a money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment.

7. Credits

AI generation and some exports use credits. The number of credits each action costs is shown in the app and may change.

Monthly plan credits are added at the start of each billing period. Unused monthly credits don't roll over; they expire at the end of the period.
Purchased credits (credit bundles) don't expire while your account is open.
Credits have no cash value. They can't be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, and they are refundable only as described in the Refund Policy.
Unused credits are lost when an account is deleted, or closed for breaking these terms.

8. Copyright complaints (DMCA) and takedowns

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice to [email protected] with:

your name, postal address, email and signature (typed is fine);
the work you say is infringed, and where the infringing material is (a link or project details);
a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and
a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them.

We'll remove or disable the material where appropriate and tell the user. A user who believes the removal was a mistake can send us a counter-notice. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users or the Service at risk, or where the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first.

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and its data, email [email protected] from your account's email address; we'll delete it within 30 days. Cancel any paid plan first so it doesn't renew.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unexpected. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and we don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

If a third party makes a claim against us because of your Inputs, your use of Output, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, cancel and stop using it.
