What a credit buys
One credit is $0.01 of what the AI providers charge us. Before every AI action you see what it will cost; you pay what it really cost, never more than the upper figure shown, and nothing if it fails.
A typical minute of finished video ≈ 25 credits
- 7–8 scene images
- The voice-over (about 150 words)
- Splitting the script into scenes
- A few image redos
Longer scenes use fewer images, so the same credits stretch further. Many short scenes and lots of redos use more. Before every AI action you see what it will cost, and you're never charged more than that upper figure.
| Action | Typical credits |
|---|---|
| Video from a script | 23 per minute of video |
| Script step 2: generate scenes | 23 per minute of video |
| Script step 1: find characters & places | 1 per script |
| Regenerate a scene image | 2 per image |
| Generate a character image | 2 per image |
| Generate a background image | 2 per image |
| Generate an image (media library) | 2 per image |
| Generate a scene voice-over | 1 per scene |
| Split a scene with AI | 1 per split |
| AI edit chat message | 1 per message |
| Generate social post details | 1 per request |
| Export beyond your plan's minutes | 1 per minute of video |
Typical prices. Each action is rounded up to a whole credit once, so an action that cost $0.421 is 43 credits.
Export minutes
Every plan includes minutes of export each month. A video uses its length: a 3-minute video uses 3 minutes. When they run out, each started minute costs 1 credit, on every plan. There's no limit on how long a video can be.
- 20min · Free
- 0min · Starter
- 0min · Professional
Example
You have 2 minutes left this month and export a 4½-minute video. 2 minutes come from your plan; the other 2½ start 3 minutes, so the export costs 3 credits.
When minutes come back
- Free: on the 1st of each month (UTC).
- Starter and Pro: when your billing month renews.
- Unused minutes don't carry over.
- A failed or canceled export gives its minutes back.
